I joined HFMC Wealth as Chief Operating Officer in 2018 having previously been Head of Wealth Planning at both C. Hoare & Co., the UK’s oldest privately owned bank, and also Fleming Family & Partners (now Stonehage Fleming, the largest International Family Office in the EMEA region). I am responsible for HFMC Wealth’s advice and service proposition as well as operational efficiency. I am a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, a Chartered Financial Planner, and an assistant examiner for the Chartered Insurance Institute in the subject areas of holistic financial planning and pension transfers. I hold the specialist qualifications required to provide final salary pension transfer advice and long term care planning. I look after a select group of clients and specialise in asset structuring, cash flow planning, pension transfers along with the technicalities of estate and succession planning. I am married with two children, having met my wife overseas whilst living in Japan. I love great wine and fantastic food and enjoy watching rugby.

About me I am lucky enough to have a small number of incredible clients who I enjoy helping particularly at important junctions in their lives. Most people are too busy trying to get their own message across and don't listen to what the client is saying. I tailor the level of detail that I provide to the preferences of each client. I won't bother them with the detail unless they want to know it. What I really enjoy is focusing on people's goals - the bigger picture. About me Following a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Oxford and working as an interest rate swap and currency trader at Bankers’ Trust in New York and London I founded the business which evolved into HFMC, with my wife Jacqueline. Today I have over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector. I am responsible for the strategic vision and operational management of the Group. In 1992 I wrote: “I want to build the highest quality financial management business in this country. Espousing the principle of service in full, having identified their objectives, our clients will experience total care, objectivity and independence”.
