My qualifications
I am a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner. I hold advanced level CII Investment Planning and the Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management qualifications alongside the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the UK.
About me?
I graduated in 1998 and began my career in financial services in 1999 with National Provident Institution. I initially went down the route of becoming a financial planner, before deciding to specialise in investments. I joined HFMC Wealth in September 2007 as part of the investment team with a focus on fund selection and portfolio construction. In the early years, I was involved in the development of our investment management proposition and discretionary management service, co-launching the Quadrant Portfolios to discretionary clients in September 2010, which I have continuously managed since our very first client.
I am responsible for the investment management proposition across a full product suite of portfolios, which include the Core, Passive, Offshore and Positive Impact Portfolios, which are available to all our advisory and discretionary clients. I also Chair the HFMC Group Investment Committee, which is responsible for the investment governance function of the firm.
Away from the office, I am an FA Qualified football coach and have played a small part in developing girls’ football at my local club from just a handful of players to the point where we now have over 150 girls playing regular football. I enjoy cycling, golf (the fair-weather version) and plenty of walking, cooking and holidays!
