About me

I’m a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner through the Chartered Insurance Institute, and hold the award in Long Term Care.   I have over twenty year’s experience in financial services, the last three of which I’ve spent at HFMC.  My typical clients are looking to build towards their retirement or, if already in retirement, looking to preserve their lifestyle and make their money work hard for them. Thus I specialise in investment planning, pre and post-retirement planning, inheritance tax planning and long term care.

The emphasis on long term support for clients means I take on all aspects of financial planning, often leading to building relationships with all members of the same family.  My goal is to be regarded as a trusted adviser for people and their families.

I take a careful, considered view towards advising clients on their planning, with a strong analytical approach. I am mindful of the trust clients put in me and it is imperative to me that this trust is justified and maintained for the long term.

I think my clients appreciate my honesty and my candid approach, along with my attention to detail and the fact that I provide the best service I can, as well as my integrity and focus on looking after my clients over many years.

Beyond work I’m a retired cricketer, having shifted my focus to the easier pastures of the golf course. I also have a keen interest in history and archaeology.
